Indigo Children & Crystal Children

Up until very recently I was particularly sceptical towards the subject of Indigo Children...etc, but I have been told time after time by mediums that I'm an Indigo Child (born in 1986) and so I decided to research the subject further and to my surprise I was compelled to feel in agreement with what I was reading. I'm a little skeptical of this subject. I'm not saying it's not possible to have a more predominantly indigo aura. I just don't think that they are that much different than any other child that was born in the late seventies, 80's, and 90's.

Yes, it's a very debatable subject. I'm even sure if anyone really knows the exact 'time' when these 'beings' begun incarnating.

I could see those traits in you. You do have that fiery indigo spirit. I just don't know if that many are really indigo, crystal, star children... Then again kids are a lot different these days. I was different myself. But not in the different that kids are today.

a medium recently told me I was a grown up crystal child, but I was born in 1986. can crystal children be born that long ago?

Hello CRK, I too was born in 1986. That's an interesting question, maybe they were born further back than originally thought.

Personally I am not at all impressed with the whole indigo child issue. We have a situation now where mediumship has suddenly become very popular and seen by some as a pathway to fame and fortune.

Beauty pagents, singing talent shows etc? Parents all telling their kids they are special, or beautiful. In my opinion these are all parents living out their dreams through there own children. This whole indigo nonesence is nothing more than A spiritual x factor!

Whilst I have no doubt that some of these kids may indeed be spiritual, it doesn't make them mediums, or indeed any more special than any other child. We have to be so careful what the kids are being set up for. I have recently been working with a 14 year old girl who was been enchoraged to stand in an open circle and work. Nobody had actually asked her if she wanted to do this, and the case was that she didn't really. I had to show her ways to control what was happening and work with spirit in a way that she was comfortable with.

Pushy parents have no way of understanding the workings of spirit and as such shouldn't be trying to drive it. People promoting Indigo Children should also be asked as to their motives for doing so. I would be suprised if any of them really understand a spiritual path.

I find it amusing when a medium says something like - "your an indigo child" It cannot be proven, therefore is as irrelevent as saying something like "your were a blacksmith in a passed life". It simply cannot be proven. Mediumship should not be about anything other than a provable truth.
